Lydia unexpectedly found herself near the center of attention, where she met the Protectress of Samara once again. A divine gift offered hope for her entire country: one of the greatest military masterminds that time had ever seen, brought in from the distant realm of Earth.

	However, no man could change history on his own. He would have to cooperate with Lydia, plus an inexperienced female officer corps that he openly mocked. Victory or annihilation hung in the balance. But one fact stood for certain:
