The nominal organization unit left unspecified and to be assembled as needed per operational parameters. A field army consists of multiple brigades, plus independent battalions and companies of auxiliary, logistical, and specialist troops. Battalions serve as the basic strategic unit, representing the smallest unit capable of self-supply in the field. A battalion may also form a 'light reconnaissance platoon' by combining both companies' recon squads under the command of its IC section lieutenant -- dual-trained in reconnoiter and propaganda/public relations (hence 'Information Control').

Logistical Companies are responsible for ferrying and distributing supplies to front line troops, although they are often delegated to other rear duties to spare combat and pioneer troops for better use. As such, logistic companies are always made of 2nd rate soldiers either unfit or unreliable for front line work, and provided inferior equipment (i.e. logistical companies in cavalry battalions rely on light wagons instead of being fully mounted).
